What Sneaks is
Sneaks is a personal sneaker collection tracker. It has two parts: a private mobile app used only by the collection's owner to manage their sneakers and wishlist, and this public, read-only web companion, which anyone with a share link can use to view a collection.
Information collected in the mobile app
Creating an account requires an email address and password, used solely to sign in. The app also stores the sneaker and wishlist details the owner enters — brand, size, condition, purchase price, purchase location, and photos. Purchase price and purchase location are private: they are never shown publicly and are excluded from every share link, no matter what.
Share links (this web app)
Each account has one permanent, unguessable share code. Anyone with that code can view the corresponding collection and wishlist through this web app, without needing an account of their own. Only the fields intended for public display are shown — purchase price and purchase location are never included.
What we don't do
Sneaks doesn't show ads, use analytics or tracking SDKs, or sell or share data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Where data is stored
Account and collection data is stored with Supabase, the hosted database and authentication provider Sneaks runs on. Mobile app builds are distributed through Apple and Expo's build infrastructure. No other third parties receive your data.
